Dana's Story
Dana Whittaker grew up in San Diego and graduated from SDSU in 1998 with a degree in English and a desire to see the world. She took off to back-pack through Europe in pursuit of a challenging career. She didn't find it there, so she toured Australia, Canada and Mexico too. She decided to move to Las Vegas on a whim and never looked back.
Dana got her real estate license in late 2000 and built up a thriving business over the next several years after jumping over lots of hurdles. She signed up for a coaching program that put everything in perspective in September of 2001. From there, the road began to narrow. She thoroughly enjoyed negotiating deals and feeling the excitement of a closing, however, her passion developed for what makes one person or team incredibly successful over so many others that are doomed to fail. How come some people seem to have unlimited potential?
Dana became obsessed with studying the process by which people attain their dreams. She knew certain methods worked because they had worked for her: someone with no prior knowledge of real estate, no SOI, and no money. So why do so many real estate agents fight the process? Why do they limit themselves with their own beliefs? How come they are afraid to try different means of becoming successful? Why do so many agents have an overwhelming fear of failure, and of success?!?
Dana overcome a lot of adversity in life. She has been able to walk through many challenges and she has failed a lot. And, she found some methods to help her land on her feet, disconnect from the failure quickly and jump back in the game. Dana works with amazing coaches and mentors that have guided her to have life-changing breakthroughs. This is Dana's calling and it's why she joined Keller Williams as the Productivity Coach. Coaching others through a paradigm shift fulfills her soul. It is absolutely her dream position! Her passion is to inspire others to live the life of their dreams and to show them that with a little bit of work, everything is possible--especially when you work in Real Estate!
Dana's Experience
She has held just about every position in a real estate office in her quest to learn everything she could about the business and to be the best. She has coached and trained everyone from brand new agents, to top producers, office administrators and brokers. She has negotiated hundreds of residential real estate transactions and led one of the top producing teams in her company at the height of her career. Dana has hired and trained personal assistants, transaction coordinators, marketing managers, buyer agents and listing specialists. She has worked as a broker/salesperson, trainer, manager and recruiter overseeing all day to day operations for an entire office.
Dana is happily married to Chris Whittaker and they have a gorgeous son. She is training for her next Triathlon.
